Omnia kenn ich seit dem Festival Mediaval IV und 'I don't speak human' ist eines der Lieder das die dort gespielt haben. Es ist ziemlich ruhig und ich mag ja eher schnelleres, meistens zumindest, aber ich finde das Lied einfach klasse. Der Text entspricht dem, was ich auch oft denke. Die Ignoranz und Zerstörungskraft des Menschen wird hier angesprochen. Ich finde das Lied auch recht traurig, eben weil es so viele Menschen gibt, die denken, dass wir besser sind als alle anderen Wesen und dass wir deswegen das Recht hätten, uns alles auf der Welt anzueigenen.

Van Canto kenn ich dank einem User aus einem anderen Forum. Er hat mir diese Band empfohlen, weil ich Metal und A Capella mag. Zuerst war ich ziemlich skeptisch, was Van Canto betrifft, ich meine... Metal und A-Capella ist eigentlich eine sehr seltsame Kombination. Aber ich muss sagen, ich finde diese Gruppe einfach klasse und auch beeindruckend. Klar, nicht jeder mag sowas, aber eigentlich verdient diese Gruppe Respekt, denn sie machen alles (außer Schlagzeug) nur mit ihren Stimmen. Vor allem die "Gitarren-Solos" sind beeindruckend. Warum sie trotzdem Schlagzeug nutzen? Nun, um Van Canto zu zitieren: "Wer will, kann gerne versuchen 'Speed of Light' zu beatboxen. Wer atmet, pfuscht."
Speed of Light ist einer meiner absoluten Lieblingssongs von Van Canto.
